You obviously have a conspiracy complex as well as a rather inflated idea of your own opinion cityman/zorgin! If I was interested enough to want to find out who you really were how difficult do you think it is to hack this rather amateur site and ping your isp address? If pitbull had a brain he may like to investigate!Unlike most of the childish nonsense reported here I use my name and Face does the same and its his pub nowadays ok!Its always been one of the best pubs in town with a fantastic loyal customer base and it will remain so.Go back to crayon therapy those little twits who dare not put their real names to their apparent observations! Cityman!PAH! Dont make me LAUGH! I bet the biggest city you have been in is Needham Market! Dick and Frank?? Sounds like slang to me!!

As someone re-locating to Suffolk & looking to see what facilities each town has, I have to say that Rob (aka Pitbull (?) - see entry under Royal Oak) & Face are 2 of a kind, and neither seem to have a very welcoming attitude to criticism. If I do end up in Stowmarket I'll be sure to give this place a miss. Your comments, gentlemen, do not persuade potential visitors to give your pub a go - in fact they make it sound a pretty rough place.

good quality public relations by the landlord there i see. no wonder the staff r so sad i gave up waitin for a drink they was to busy blabbing at the other end of the bar to evn no we was waiting.
I now no why they call it Slo market. no gd pubs in this town believe me.

err I believe I would be a bit concerned if the landlord DID NOT like big busted blonde young ladies!! A pre-requisite for any self respecting male pint jockey! DUUUUrrrr! LOL
Mind you it looks like its become another teenage lager louting footballing err we go err we go town job which is a shame......Last time I was in there were more fights going on than in a jackie chan movie....

We had the most un pleasant visit to the queens head, in which we were served by a member of staff, who to our knowledge didnt know how to crack a smile. there was no thank you, or conversation made. the service we recieved was totally and utterly dispicable!!! also when we went to the toilets we noticed some white powder on top of the toilet.the landlord who i believe is known as Face, loves big blonde busted young ladies. whoop whoop!!!!
