We lovethe oak, its a good place to go, and prob the best place to eat in the town!

i say its not to bad at times. you get the odd riff raff in as you do in these small town establishments but that only adds to the colurful atmosphere!

The Oak is dying a slow death sadly. Used to be the best pub in town but now its lost its soul...Was in recently, kiddy running about with toys, managers eating their meals..apparently the kids are the managers offspring. Surely they should be upstairs...pub pretty empty even though this was a lunchtime. Such a shame..totally souless and no atmosphere. Needs a real landlord character to bring the Oak back.
