By far the most impressive standard of cuisine in the area. I often wondered what all the fuss was about when TV chefs banged on about the quality and preparation of excellent food - now i know what they mean. If you WANT to taste the difference then you NEED to visit this pub at least once. The benchmark for quality food is set so high that i have not found another restaurant to better this place yet. If you want to impress, then bring a guest here. I'm going back again next week. Not cheap, but by god, you get what you pay for here.. Excellent.

Currently being refurbished - but business as usual - food is fantastic as ever and service wonderful - real personality and real quality. There's no better place to eat in this part of Suffolk.
