Agree with coljacq. She has big plans (pool table, quiz nights, dart teams etc.) and is willing to listen to what customers say. We know this lady (Sue) and she has done this several times elsewhere with great success as a manager but wants to have a go for herself this time. So give her a chance! She has already brightened the place up (flowers, bay window, frontage etc.) and that is just the start. So go in and say hi. You will be pleasently surprised.

It may be worth another visit, a new landlady has just moved in (last week). Very positive sort, lots of plans, an "old fashioned" landlady in the best sense

5 or 6 landlords in 7 years 4 in last 18 months says it all really, situated in very residential area and nosie is a problem.
Mind you they dont make to much noise as its normally dead!

Greene King sold this pub over a year ago..now part of Admiral Taverns....could be a good place if refurbed and run properly...ideal garden and patio for smokers. It needs a proper tenant rather than a manager (Mike)

Whos the landlord this month? Mike? Soon to be known as skint Mike if he follows the last half dozen who have ben unlucky enough to have been seduced into taking this gaff on! Greene King dont care- plenty more numptys waiting to be fleeced of their hard earned nest eggs! Well thats the way it seems for sure! They dont care as long as someone pays the rent for a few moe months! Greedy landlords Mike! BEWARE!!!!
