In November 2004 we took over the Chestnut Horse, we have refurbished throughout, We offer food every lunchtime between 12 noon and 2pm. As well as an extensive menu we offer homemade daily specials, such as pies, liver and bacon, toad in the hole etc. We open all day Fridays and Saturdays. On the last Thursday of every month we have an excellent pop quiz. Live music is featured at least once a month. There is a wonderful atmosphere at the pub with people travelling from other villages to drink with us in the evenings. We have a nice play area, which is especially suited to younger children. Our Sunday Roasts are so popular that it is necessary to book in advance. |
