living in stowmarket

Thinking ofmoving up to Stowmarket from Ilford. Just wondered if you can recommend any particularly nice places near Stowmarket, need good high school but easy access to station. Need views of countryside and good facilities nearby but dont want to live in Stowmarket itself. Also dont want to feel cut off!! After 3 months of looking around cant quite decide.
